Over the past few years, we’ve seen a growing wave of progressive political action that has had significant roots in our faith communities. Odyssey Networks helps to partner with faith groups to help them continue their fantastic work. It initiates to build a dialogue with faith groups which will enable us to listen to and learn from each other. Sharing a proud history and values of equality, of social justice and of compassion for other faiths, Odyssey Networks initiates to build a good society for the next generation. The central aim of the organisation sticks onto its verdicts and purpose of establishing a compassionate society built on shared values, one that is more equal, more just and more considerate of others.
One of the issues that follows us throughout life is that of identity. Who am I? How do I define myself? And then, the surprising realization and question: who defines me? Many current influences, myths and forces outside of oneself frame you and who you are. You may be the inhabitant of any specific country but your religion puts you under the suspicion of various suspects. This layer further becomes an added layer to your identity. National identity is a major determinant or rather better placed a prime factor that moulds imaginations. It shapes an identity as a people and as a nation.
